One of our favorite ways to explore is by kayak or paddleboard. Be sure to visit our friends at La Dolce Vita for your rental equipment. Also, we recommend you visit nearby Clement Taylor Park. It’s the perfect place to launch from.

Did you know that Destin is known as the World’s Luckiest Fishing Village? There are plenty of fishing charter options for newbies and experienced wranglers alike. You can opt for a private charter or join in on a group trip. From experience, we recommend Sea Winder or First Light. It’s fun to get out on the water and you can even bring your catch home for dinner. There are several Destin restaurants that will help you prep the fish or cook it for you.

When you stay at the Cottages by the Bay, be sure to visit one of the many fantastic beach options. The Emerald Coast is known for the stunning blue green waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
