Located right across the street from the Cottages is La Dolce Vita rentals. Here you can rent a pontoon boat or jet ski. If you have ever visited Destin, FL then you have probably heard of Crab Island. It is a popular spot to anchor your boat and wade in the shallow water. It is just a short boat drive away from La Dolce Vita. Great customer service and a well-kept inventory of pontoon boats is what you can expect. Make sure to pack water and sunscreen! The Florida UV rays can make a day out on the water tiring if you are not properly prepared.
Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park
The Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park is located on Okaloosa Island. It features incredible wildlife exhibits, interactive areas, and thrilling shows. It has been serving the Gulf Coast for many years and is often a visitor’s place to visit when they need a break from the heat of the beach. Your kids will love spending the day learning about the different marine animals that inhabit the Gulf of Mexico. Make sure to bring your camera! You won’t want to miss snapping a photo of the smiling faces that come from watching the spectacular dolphin show.
