For starters, fireworks over the Destin Harbor cannot be missed. You can catch this beautiful display for yourself, up close and personal, or you can see the fireworks right from the Cottages. Since we are within walking distance of the Harbor, you won’t need to call an Uber or a Lyft to go see the fireworks. You’re just a short walk away from one of the most magical New Year’s Eve fireworks show in Destin.
Another great place to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Destin is at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. Their fireworks show is not to be missed either. Typically you can get there a little early for some family-friendly activities and live music. In recent years, there has been a fireworks show around 8 PM so that the little ones don’t fall asleep waiting until midnight. This is a great option for families who are looking for some quiet fun, as you may find a little more excitement at the harbor.
